Message from the Principal

Dear Walnut Avenue School Community, 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  Throughout the past couple of years we have been reminded of that which is most important.  While this may have looked different for each of us, together we fostered a learning environment which afforded students and staff opportunities to thrive despite the challenges our community faced as a result of the pandemic.  With a positive mindset, together we can support students as they continue to learn and grow while we build strong minds, bodies and character at Walnut Avenue School. 

This school year, collectively let's once again commit ourselves to doing what is best for our students, staff and school community each and every day.  The mission of Cranford Public Schools remains, and is even more important: Growing Tomorrow's Leaders Together

Parents/Guardians/Families are the most important teachers in a child's life and along with our amazing staff, I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with you during these years in their educational journey.  At Walnut Avenue School we value a strong partnership and invite families to get involved in all aspects of our school community.
