Welcome to Walnut Ave School
Hi! My name is Grace Rivetti and I'm the School Counselor or "Feelings Teacher" at Walnut Avenue School and Livingston Avenue School. In my role, I help children develop positive friendships, build confidence, and learn problem-solving and coping skills, and support their overall social-emotional growth. I work with students individually, in small groups, and in the classroom to promote a safe and caring school environment. I also collaborate with teachers and families to identify and address students’ needs, to ensure that every child has the tools to succeed both in school and in life. In addition, I plan various school-wide social-emotional learning activities throughout the year to recognize Week of Respect, Peace Week, and more!
